Physiotherapists at The Chiron Clinic Dubai

A graduate from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2005, I have more than 10 years extensive experience treating orthopaedic and musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative conditions and sports injuries.

I enjoy treating back and neck disorders using manual mobilization, pain relief methods and motor-control retraining.

The rehabilitation of tendinopathies is another key area I enjoy treating. This includes: Achilles Tendinopathy, Tennis Elbow, Patellar Tendinopathy and others.

In addition to my physiotherapy degree I have completed a certification in Spinal Manual Therapy, as well as a certification course in Advanced Sports Rehabilitation at Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia. Other post-graduate courses include: STOTT Pilates Spinal, Pelvic and Scapular Stabilization Matwork & Reformer – RMR1 course, Dry Needling as well as the Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) course.

An added qualification I have recently completed is a Diploma in Bowen Therapy. This holistic approach to manual therapy allows me to treat the client on all levels. Not only working on the musculoskeletal system, but the therapy affects the other systems that make up the body as well. It successfully shifts the body into the Parasympathetic state (PNS) which allows it to start repairing itself.
